Two awards for PERFUME at the European Film Awards 2007

PERFUME has won two prices at the European Film Awards 2007. The ceremony took place in Berlin on December 1st. Uli Hanisch won the „European Film Academy Prix d´Excellence“ for his outstanding achievements in Production Design, while this year´s best Cinematography Award was granted to Frank Griebe.

PERFUME receives 5 nominations for the European Film Awards 2007

Nominees for this year's European Film Awards were officially announced by EFA - members during Seville Film Festival last Saturday. PERFUME has been nominated in the following categories: "European Composer 2007" - Tom Tykwer, Johnny Klimek & Reinhold Heil "European Actor 2007" - Ben Whishaw "European Cinematographer" 2007 - Frank Griebe "European Film Academy Prix d'Excellence" - Uli Hanisch for Production Design "People's Choice Award" - Perfume - the Story of a Murderer The 20th "European Film" - awards ceremony will take place on December, 1st in Berlin.

Filming starts on THE INTERNATIONAL

Principal photography has started on THE INTERNATIONAL. First shooting location for director Tom Tykwer and his crew is Istanbul (Turkey). Berlin (Germany) and Milan (Italy) will follow. Most of the principal shooting (45 days) will take place in Berlin, and the crew is taking full advantage of the location possibilities that Studio Babelsberg as well as the surrounding area has to offer. The European Film Academy has nominated PERFUME for the People's Choice Award 2007. The Award allows the audience to directly elect their favourite european film of the year 2007. A total of 11 movies have been nominated for the People Choice Award, voting is online (www.peopleschoiceaward.org) until October, 31st.

Naomi Watts to star in THE INTERNATIONAL

Naomi Watts will star in Tom Tykwer's new movie THE INTERNATIONAL. Born in England and raised in Australia, Naomi Watts has gained international reputation by playing in films such as 21 GRAMMS (Directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inárritu) and INLAND EMPIRE (Directed by David Lynch). In Tykwer's upcoming film Watts will represent a New York state attorney who, along with co -star Clive Owen, investigates a far-reaching corruption scandal at a global bank.
